Resources Over-usage

Shared hosting means that server resources (CPU, memory, bandwidth, etc.) are shared among all users. As such, fair usage policies apply to every customer to ensure stable server performance.

Corrective Measures: CPU / Memory Overuse

Overusing CPU or RAM can affect other customers on the server. Unfortunately, we cannot make exceptions, as it puts the entire environment at risk.

Recommended actions:

  • Upgrade to a higher-tier hosting plan. We offer free and complete migration assistance. Learn more

  • Review and remove:

    • Resource-heavy plugins or modules

    • Outdated or insecure scripts/themes

    • Unused plugins that may be running background tasks

  • Avoid scheduling cron jobs at intervals shorter than 5 minutes

orrective Measures: Bandwidth / Storage Overuse

Bandwidth:

  • If you've exceeded your monthly limit, you can either:

    • Wait for the next billing cycle (when usage resets), or

    • Upgrade your plan to increase your bandwidth quota.

Disk Storage:

  • If suspended due to storage limits:

    • You may upgrade to a higher or unlimited disk plan, or

    • Delete unused files via FTP or cPanel File Manager

  • JKDesigns staff cannot delete files on your behalf, nor offer exceptions. Only upgrading or manually freeing space will resolve the issue.
